Seventh Convocation Registration Form 2025

 

NOTICE

It is hereby informed that the seventh Convocation of the University will be held on 24th March 2025 at 11:00 AM   in the University Campus.

Hon’ble, Governor of Uttarakhand, Shri Gurmit Singh ji has kindly consented to be the Chief Guest on the occasion.

The candidates whose names are uploaded in the Convocation Registration Portal shall only be conferred with their respective Degrees in this Convocation. The candidates, who shall be conferred with their Degree, are required to register themselves on Convocation Registration Portal which is available by clicking the  "Button" at the end of page.

Only registered students shall be allowed to participate in the Convocation Ceremony.

In addition to conferment of Degree, Academic Medals/Awards will also be awarded to the program toppers who excelled in academics.

Last date for online registration is 19th March 2025 till midnight.

The The Dress Code to be observed by the Degree/Award recipients during Convocation Ceremony-2025 shall be as follows:

For Ladies:

Off-white or Cream coloured sari with Golden border. Blouses in Golden or base colour of the sari. (Sleeveless blouses are not permitted).

For Gentlemen:

White or Off-white Pyjama/Pyjami and Half-collar (bandh gala) kurta with full sleeves. Off white sleeveless formal jacket (optional) with formal footwear.

Note: The dress has to be arranged by the students themselves. The sample photograph of the dress code is attached. Deviation from the prescribed dress code shall not be permitted.

Convocation Stole (short dupatta) will be provided by the University on the Convocation Day (i.e. 24th March 2025) at 9:00 AM, , on the counters earmarked for the purpose, nearby the Convocation venue. Each recipient of Degree must wear the stole round the neck during the Convocation. The candidates retain the stole with themselves as a token of remembrance.

The rehearsal for Convocation will be held on 22nd March 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Convocation Centre. All Ph.D. Degree and All Award recipients must ensure that they reach the Convocation Centre for rehearsal positively by 2:30 PM on 22nd March 2025.

On the day of Convocation i.e. 24th March 2025, the Degree/Award recipients must occupy their seats by 10.00 AM at the Convocation Centre.

The convocation will be conducted with Conferment of degrees, Oath Ceremony and presentation of Ph.D. Degrees & Academic Awards by Hon'ble Chief Guest, followed by presentation of other Degrees and lunch. The candidates of various Constituent Academic Units may collect their respective degrees from the designated counters near convocation venue, as mentioned below:

Do’s & Don’ts to be strictly followed

Do’s

  1. Register online.
  2. Carry any photo ID card issued by the government (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport) for self-identification.
  3. Family members attending the Convocation need to carry their Entry Pass alongwith Photo ID Card (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport) for identification.
  4. Maintain silence inside the Convocation Venue.
  5. Cooperate with the Security & University administration personnel.
  6. Park your vehicles at the areas as instructed by the University Administration.
  7. Keep your campus clean and litter free.
  8. All degree/awards recipients should follow the dress code specified for the Convocation.

Don’ts

  1. Children below the age of 13 years are not allowed inside the Convocation Venue.
  2. Black clothing in any form viz., dress, caps, handkerchiefs etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  3. Mobile phones/ Electronic Gadgets/ Cameras etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  4. Weapons/ Firearms/ Knives/ Sticks/ Sharp objects or any other items that can be /are considered as “arms” are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  5. Eatables/ Beverages etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  6. Cigarettes, Match Box/ Lighters are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  7. Moving from your assigned seat /enclosure while the Convocation is in progress is strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  8. All types of bags are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  9. Degree/awards recipients who are not in proper dress code specified for Convocation will be denied entry into the Convocation Venue.
