Himalayan School of Pharmaceutical Sciences (a constituent academic unit of Swami Rama Himalayan University), requires following personnel :

S.No Post Eligibility Criteria
1. Professor (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) Essential:

1.      A basic degree in pharmacy (B. Pharm.).

2.      Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

3.      Ph. D. degree in relevant field and First class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the branch of Pharmaceutical Chemistry.

4.      Minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching / research / industry out of which at least 3 years shall be at a post equivalent to that of an Associate Professor.

5.      At least 10 research publications at the level of Associate Professor in SCI journals / SCOPUS/ Web of Science list of journals and at least 2 successful Ph.D. guided as Supervisor / Co-supervisor till the date of eligibility.

Desirable:

1.      Demonstrated excellence in teaching and a strong record of scholarly achievements.

2.      A distinguished publication record in reputable academic journals and other relevant publications.

3.      Successful experience in securing research grants and funding (Extramural & Intramural).

4.      Strong leadership and mentorship abilities.

5.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6.      A commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in academia.

7.      High personal & professional integrity

 

2. Assistant Professor (Pharmaceutics) Essential:

1.      A basic degree in pharmacy (B.Pharm.).

2.      Registration as a pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948, as amended from time to time, including any succeeding enactments.

3.      A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in the branch of Pharmaceutics from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.

Desirable

1.      A Ph.D. degree in any of Pharmacy subjects is preferred.

2.      Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

3.      A strong record of research and scholarly achievements, including publications in reputable academic journals.

4.      Experience in securing research grants and funding is preferred.

5.      Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6.      Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse academic environment.

7.      Commitment to academic excellence, student success, and continuous professional development.

8.      High personal & professional integrity.
