Eighth Convocation Registration

 

NOTICE

It is hereby informed that the Eighth Convocation of the University will be held on 14th February 2026 in the University Campus.

In order to take part in the Convocation ceremony, it is mandatory for all eligible participants to complete the registration process on the portal by clicking the "Click to Register" button at the end of page. Only registered candidates shall be allowed to participate in the Convocation Ceremony.

In addition to conferment of Degree, Academic Medals/Awards will also be awarded to the program toppers who excelled in academics.

Last date for online registration is 8th February 2026 till midnight.

The The Dress Code to be observed by the Degree/Award recipients during Convocation Ceremony shall be as follows:

For Ladies:

Off-white or Cream coloured sari with Golden border. Blouses in Golden or base colour of the sari. (Sleeveless blouses are not permitted).

For Gentlemen:

White or Off-white Pyjama/Pyjami and Half-collar (bandh gala) kurta with full sleeves. Off white sleeveless formal jacket (optional) with formal footwear.

Note: The dress has to be arranged by the Degree/Award recipients themselves. The sample photograph of the dress code is attached herewith. Deviation from the prescribed dress code shall not be permitted in the ceremony.

Convocation Stole (short dupatta) will be provided by the University on the Convocation Day (i.e. 14th February 2026). The participants are advised to collect their stoles from their respective school/college on 14th February 2026 between 08:30 AM to 09:30 AM. The stole counter at the School/College shall not issue the stoles after 09:30 AM. Each recipient of Degree must wear the stole round the neck during the Convocation. The candidates retain the stole with themselves as a token of remembrance.

The rehearsal for Convocation will be held on 13th February 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Convocation Venue. All Ph.D. Degree & Award recipients must ensure that they reach the Convocation Venue for rehearsal, positively by 2:30 PM on 13th February 2026.

On the day of Convocation i.e. 14th February 2026, Academic Procession of each School/College, comprising of their respective faculty members and the Degree/Award recipients, will proceed from their respective School/College at 10:00 AM and reach the Convocation Venue at 10:15 AM. The Degree and Award recipients must occupy their seats by 10:30 AM at the Convocation Venue. Late entry shall not be permitted.

The convocation will be conducted in 02 (two) stages, starting with Conferment of degrees, Oath Ceremony and presentation of Ph.D. Degrees & Academic Awards by Hon’ble Chief Guest. After departure of Chief Guest and lunch, Stage two will cover presentation of degrees to the recipients & photo session with the dignitaries of the University. The degree recipients may collect their respective degree from their respective School/College.

Please go through the “Do’s and Don’ts” thoroughly as mentioned below for the needful compliances:

Do’s

  1. Register online.
  2. Carry any photo ID card issued by the government (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport) for self-identification.
  3. All degree/award recipients should follow the dress code specified for the Convocation.
  4. Family members attending the Convocation need to carry their Entry Pass alongwith Photo ID Card (Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID/Passport) for identification.
  5. Park your vehicles at the areas as instructed by the University Administration.
  6. Cooperate with the Security & University administration personnel.
  7. Maintain silence inside the Convocation Venue.
  8. Keep the University & venue clean and litter free.

Don’ts

  1. Children below the age of 13 years are not allowed inside the Convocation Venue.
  2. Black clothing in any form viz., dress, caps, handkerchiefs etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  3. Mobile phones/ Electronic Gadgets/ Cameras etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  4. Weapons/ Firearms/ Knives/ Sticks/ Sharp objects or any other items that considered harmful are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  5. Eatables/ Beverages etc. are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  6. Cigarettes, Match Box/ Lighters are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  7. Moving from your assigned seat /enclosure while the Convocation is in progress is strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  8. All types of bags are strictly prohibited inside the Convocation Venue.
  9. Degree /award recipients who are not in proper dress code specified for Convocation will be denied entry into the Convocation Venue.
